Aguilar has been a household name in the strange and fantastic land of bass guitar amplification for quite some time now. In addition to their bass amplifiers and speaker cabinets, Aguilar produce a series of preamps designed to install into your bass guitar. These devices are known as on-board preamps, or OBPs. The OBP-1 is a boost-only preamp that enriches your bass guitar with the option to boost bass and trebles to up to 18 dB. Aguilar's OPB-1 ensures you get a volume boost without extra static. The OPB-1TK comes with separate bass and treble potentiometers.
